You can try.
You do not have to produce a “good” piece of art. We want to make room for curiosity, experimentation and personal exploration.
ART, MENTAL HEALTH & COMMUNITY

OUR IDEA
You can begin with a line. With something on your mind. Or simply with the wish to be there.
Out of the Box Project brings art and mental health into conversation. We are interested in what happens when people make time to create, to listen and to be heard.
Our vision for this nonprofit is to make room for different experiences, without reducing a person to a role, a difficulty or a diagnosis.
We are not looking
for perfect expression.
We are looking for yours.
WAYS TO EXPRESS
Three proposed directions for our activities. The schedule and participation details will be published once confirmed.
Colour, paper, textures and everyday materials. A space to experiment with images, without having to explain everything in words.
There is room for trying things out, changing direction and leaving things unfinished.
A gesture, a short story, an improvisation. We propose sessions that explore expression through the body and language.
Everyone chooses how much of themselves they wish to show and what they want to share.
Artworks and stories can open conversations about mental health, relationships and everyday experiences.
Guests, venues and dates will be announced once confirmed.
HOW WE COME TOGETHER
You do not have to produce a “good” piece of art. We want to make room for curiosity, experimentation and personal exploration.
You do not have to talk about yourself. Being present does not mean you are expected to share personal experiences.
“No” and “this is enough for me” belong in the room. Respect for each person’s choices is the starting point of our approach.
BEFORE YOU JOIN
Our proposed activities focus on exploration. If a particular activity requires experience or has other prerequisites, these will be stated in its announcement.
The activities described here are proposals for arts and community programmes, not psychotherapy services. Any future therapy service would be presented separately, with clear information about its scope and the professionals responsible.
Confirmed dates, venues, accessibility information, any costs and registration details will be added here. Check announced events for available participation options.
LET’S START A CONVERSATION
We would like to connect with people working in the arts, mental health and the community.
A collaboration can begin with a shared question and the wish to explore it together.
